Sami’s latest return to Days of our Lives came about as a result of daughter Allie having a baby. Allie then promptly took off again, leaving Sami to fight Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) for custody of Baby Boy Horton.
Days of our Lives Polling
That’s temporarily settled, and Allie (Lindsay Arnold) has just returned but we have a feeling she still wants nothing to do with her mom and she’ll take her son too. So who will Sami (Alison Sweeney) obsess over now? Do the rest of her children need to come to Salem? (We obviously don’t mean Will, he and Sonny are bye-bye for now.) What over 7,000 viewers voted:
Bring ‘Em On
Allie has grown quite a bit since we last saw her. So we have to assume that her twin, Johnny, is now the same age. (Though, who knows, the Orpheus siblings switched birth order since the last time we saw them as children and when they returned as adults.) Johnny could be an obviously hunky addition to the young adult set, 72% of you argue (though he is related to the Bradys AND the DiMeras, which does limit his romantic options).
And then there’s Sydney, Allie and Johnny’s little sister. If Allie is the wild child, is Sydney the good girl? Or is she even wilder? And will anyone explain to Sydney why she feels a strange connection to her Aunt Nicole? We know Sami is dying to spill. But will Nicole be able to lure the girl to her side? That’s multi-generational drama!
No Room At the Inn
A smaller 28% isn’t feeling the influx of Brady/DiMera spawn. Think of all the characters currently on the canvas who we rarely get to see, like super-couple Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) or even John (Drake Hogysten) and Marlena (Deidre Hall).
Let’s see more of them before we fill the canvas with newbies looking to get some on-the-job acting training. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
