The Days of our Lives recap for September 6 – September 10, 2021, feature the wedding day from hell, a medical malady, and so much more.

Days of our Lives Recaps: Monday, September 6

Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) managed to abscond from the Salem Inn with Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) windfall; Xander unknowingly hands EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) an empty briefcase.

Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) agreed to table the discussion about expanding their family until after they’ve toured New Orleans on their honeymoon.

Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) confession was brought to a halt when Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) received an SOS from Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes); he rescues Julie from the walk-in freezer at Julie’s Place, and is flummoxed by her claim that Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) purposefully locked her inside.

Bonnie’s intrusion doubles as an unintended rescue for Steve Jonson (Stephen Nichols), who’s been pounced on by Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman); the women retire to Bonnie’s boudoir….When Bonnie proves unreachable, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) worried that she’s gotten cold feet; Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) worked to calm him.

Gwen visited Xander, and confided her attempt to come clean to Jack; Xander encourages her to keep mum about her miscarriage lie. The two are interrupted by a furious EJ who accused Xander of scamming him; an incredulous Xander realizes that he’s been robbed….Bonnie presented Calista with her ill gotten gains; in return, Calista revealed her intention to murder Bonnie!

DAYS Recaps: Tuesday, September 7

Bonnie and Calista struggle over the firearm, and Calista takes the bullet. Much to Bonnie’s horror, she realizes that Calista is dead….She partials hides the body, then manages to excuse Calista’s state as drunkenness….The wedding ceremony proceeds, but Bonnie is haunted by actions.

Julie concocts a serious of increasingly ridiculous explanations for why Doug locked her inside the walk-in freezer….Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) treats Doug to a burger and fries at the Brady Pub; he’s perturbed by Doug’s lapses in memory; he phones Julie, and when she and Jack come calling, Doug denies his wife’s accusation.

Xander’s objection, and claim that the bride-to-be is thief, brings the Kiriakis wedding to a standstill….Jack tries to elicit from Gwen exactly what Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry) had over her, but Gwen makes up an excuse, and exits the Horton abode.

DOOL Recaps: Wednesday, September 8

At Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) request, and much to Shawn Douglas Brady’s (Brandon Beemer) chagrin, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) agreed to give Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) what for; she’s less than pleased to find him composing a venomous email to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and attempts to talk him out of sending it only she fails to do so. However, the email isn’t able to it’s destination when Philip’s computer freezes.

Justin refused to believe that Bonnie was responsible for the theft of Xander’s money, prompting Xander to head for Bonnie’s bedroom where he not only reclaims the cash, but also finds the gun that ended Calista’s life….Justin is horrified to discover the woman’s corpse.

Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) hosts Abe Carver (James Reynolds), Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), and Lani Grant (Sal Stowers); the latter two are called away on urgent business, prompting Paulina to offer her baby sitting services. Once alone with the twins, Paulina cooed that she love to be called grandma, considering that she’s actually Lani’s mother; Abe enters the scene, though it’s unclear exactly what he overheard.

Philip confronted Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), and accused them of planting spyware on his computer.

Lani and Eli converged at Kiriakis manse, arriving just in time to hear Justin question exactly what Bonnie did to Calista; the detectives place Bonnie under arrest for suspicion of murder….Shawn Douglas surprised Belle with the news that he has booked them tickets to South Africa.

Days of our Lives Recaps: Thursday, September 9

Jake challenged Philip to search Gabi’s own laptop to see if it too has been implanted with the spyware; Philip confirms that it has, leading the three to theorize that Brady is behind the sabotage. Gabi privately thanked Jake for downloading the software and saving her from exposure.

Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) had an awkward cross at Julie’s Place; Ava told Nicole that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) admitted to having feelings for her; when Rafe puts in an appearance, Nicole scampers and finds solace in ice cream.

When pressed as to why she’d call herself Jules and Carver’s grandmother, Paulina covered by saying she was imagining being their grandmother by marriage should she and Abe ever tie the knot; Abe cops to having his own fantasies about marrying Paulina.

Brady attempted to use Calista’s murder as a means to lure Chloe to his abode; Chloe chastised him, and warned that she’s not enjoying been the prize in the battle between him and Philip. Next, Philip arrived and accused Brady of corporate espionage; Brady rightfully denied the charges; after refusing to resign her job based on hearsay, Chloe agreed that she’d do so if Philip could prove Brady’s guilt….Brady joined Nicole and her cup of frozen dairy.

DOOL Recaps: Friday, September 10

Gwen visited Xander, and the two wound up making love. He again cautioned her against coming clean to Jack about her miscarriage….Jack did his utmost to convince Julie that something was very wrong with Doug, but she refused to give his concern any heed. However, she is perturbed when Doug forgets who Alice Horton was.

EJ and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) had yet another tense exchange. During a tête-à-tête with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), EJ unwitting gave some sound advice — which prompted Chad to fly to Boston and arrange a visit with Abigail (Marci Miller).

Johnny angered Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) when he accused Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) of harboring feelings for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Opposite this, Allie pled for Chanel’s forgiveness, promising that her interference the night previous had only been in Chanel’s best interest; Chanel also wondered whether or not it was jealousy that caused Allie to stop her and Johnny from having sex.
