The Days of our Lives recaps for June 7 – 11, 2021, features a shocking homecoming, a gallant offer, and so much more!
Sami (Alison Sweeney) worked overtime to find evidence that would support her notion that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) had been unfaithful to Eric (Greg Vaughan), but she was stymied, first by Nicole – who produced a (fake) receipt showing that she’d paid for a single room at the Salem Inn with the aid of a company credit card – and then by Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), who refused to help assist her in her endeavor.
Lucas rightfully pointed out that Sami was projecting her own shortcomings onto Nicole, then he asked her to consider giving their relationship another chance. Before she had time to process the request, Sami was called away by a knock at the door. It’s EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel)!
Xander (Paul Telfer) and Gwen’s (Emily O’Brien) argument over the bag of pills was interrupted by Jack (Matthew Ashford). Xander covered for Gwen, but then demanded further explanation, which was not forthcoming.
After overhearing a tense phone conversation between Gwen and Snyder (Michael Lowry), Xander headed to the hospital and confronted the not-so-good doctor. Gwen blasted Xander for his interference, but he countered with an offer to help get her out from under Snyder’s thumb.
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel’s (Precious Way) celebration over their impending partnership ends in a fraught moment. Later, Allie and Tripp (Lucas Adams) share a kiss, but the former pulls away. During a subsequent conversation with Marlena (Deidre Hall), Allie confessed to her kiss with Chanel, her reaction to the one she shared with Tripp, and her fear that she will never be able to get past what Charlie (Mike Manning) did to her.
Abe (James Reynolds) gleefully informed Paulina (Jackée Harry) that Chanel’s application to open a bakery has been approved, but Paulina is not receptive to the news.
Chanel caught Eli (Lamon Archey) in yet another state of undress. Once the awkwardness subsided, the two pour over the ideas that Chanel’s concocted for her business. Their closeness irked Lani (Sal Stowers).
Chanel swung by her mother’s apartment, hoping to share the details of her latest venture, and wound up eyeing a set of blueprints for the Horton Town Square. When asked why the designs show only one large building rather than the interconnected shops that had been promised, Paulina claimed that they were for another project entirely.
Nicole debated sending Eric an email detailing her affair, but she can not bring herself to do so. When questioned by Abe, Nicole admitted that she and Eric were having major issues with their marriage. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
