The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, October 19, 2020, features Xander becoming a target, Kayla struggling with a moral dilemma, and John’s temper getting to Marlena.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Xander (Paul Telfer) was in hot water with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). She laid into him over his feud with Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and his jealousy. She called him out and told him to sleep in the guest room.
Two Against One
Downstairs, Philip was on the phone scheming when Brady (Eric Martsolf) walked in. Brady had bigger things on his mind, though. He needed Victor’s (John Aniston) help so they could clear Kristen (Stacy Haiduk).
Tempers flared when Xander came into the room. Brady went off on him about the Rachel debacle before storming off. Philip finished the job by mocking Xander about Sarah. Insults were exchanged and threats were made. This battle was far from over.
John’s Hot Temper
John (Drake Hogestyn) was ready to officially leave the hospital, but not quite ready to go home. He wanted a burger at his favorite pub first. He and Marlena (Deidre Hall) went to see Roman (Josh Taylor) and all was well — until it wasn’t.
Marlena stopped John from spilling the London scandal, which infuriated him. Why should John keep his mouth shut about his granddaughter’s attack? Things got even more heated when Marlena got a call from an unknown caller and John’s temper started up again. Thankfully, she managed to calm him before things exploded.
To Test Or Not To Test
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) had the samples but she had second thoughts about performing the test. She and Steve (Stephen Nichols) went back and forth. Tripp (Lucas Adams) clearly did not want it but Steve was desperate to clear his son’s name.
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) also had reservations. She did not understand Tripp being willing to take the test if he did it. Nicole surmised Tripp believed his own lies and pushed Allie to let the DNA speak for itself. Allie hoped the truth would come out so she could heal and get closer to her son.
