The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, September 22, 2021, features Victor Kiriakis asking Brady Black to give in to his baser instincts, Gwen Rizczech perpetuating her falsehood, Philip Kiriakis wooing his lady love, and Ava Vitali proving herself to be a most helpful friend and ally.
Victor (John Aniston) knows a thing or two about obsession for the fairer sex; so, he wasn’t at all surprised to hear that Philip’s (Jay Kenneth Johnson) beginning to let his feelings for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) affect his prowess as CEO of Titan.
The only solution? Hire Brady (Eric Martsolf) to seduce Chloe away from Philip – as if it would be much of a chore for lovelorn Brady. But is he up to the task? That’s what Victor and Chloe would like to know. And he’d better answer the two of them quickly; Victor’s got further scheming to get up to, and Chloe’s pretty tired — planting a tree in a summer dress and high heels is draining work.
Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) and her pops, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) both have guilty consciences. So, while he headed off to deliver an, “I’m sorry,” to his mate Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), she went to the Horton House, located Gwen (Emily O’Brien), and expressed her regret over the actions she undertook prior to her sister’s miscarriage.
Gwen was grateful for Abby’s words – but not grateful enough to absolve her of her unwarranted guilt; she’s not a saint after all. But she did feel bad enough to head for Xander’s hotel room for a little comfort.
Though she may not have had time for him in the past, Ava’s (Tamara Braun) grown fond enough of Philip that she’s prepared to warn him of an impending coup orchestrated by Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). It’ll be her good deed for the week; bonus: it really, really messes things up for Gabi; guess she shouldn’t have been so liberal with the use of the word “bitch,” huh?
