The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, August 11, 2021, features Sami Brady DiMera’s day going from bad to worse, Ava Vitali doing her best to be a good girlfriend rather than a romantic rival, and Philip Kiriakis letting his jealousy get the better of him.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is SO done with Sami (Alison Sweeney); Sami is SO done with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) – since she blames him for Lettergate, and Lucas is a little peeved at his little brother for putting them all in this mess in the first place.
So, while Lucas goes off to yell at Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson), Sami made one last-ditch effort to win EJ’s forgiveness – and received the verbal smackdown of all verbal smackdowns. But she’s not down for the count yet. Oh but no. Instead, Sami made a beeline for Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) in the hopes that she’ll force EJ to keep Sami at the manse. However, once Sami reached her destination, she was shanghaied by a mysterious gloved assailant.
DAYS Recap: Green-Eyed Monsters
Upon hearing Nicole Walker Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) sob story, Ava (Tamara Braun) felt a bit better about Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) offering their mutual friend a shoulder to cry on – but she still wasn’t a big fan.

Meanwhile, Philip rightfully blasted Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) for ignoring him in favor of Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). The two eventually agree to disagree, and the conversation turned to Sami and Lucas’s affair; Chloe’s glad that Philip helped out the entire sordid story.
DOOL Recap: Top of the Heap
Gabi informed Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) that she’s installed spyware on Philip’s computer; they celebrate her coup, then argue over who should take the top spot at Titan once Philip has been dethroned.
