The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, April 28, 2020, features Rafe struggling, Zoey stirring the pot, Kayla standing her ground, and a shocking discovery shaking up Abby.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Rafe (Galen Gering) has a fight on his hands to keep David. He filed for the adoption, custody, and to throw out Zoey’s (Kelly Thiebaud) case but nothing went his way. Her motion will go forward and she is well within her rights to plead her case. Justin (Wally Kurth) warned Rafe she had a good chance of winning, despite her criminal family.

Zoey knew what she was doing and assured her brother it wouldn’t be long before he had his son back. It became clear Zoey despised her father but she would do anything for her brother and nephew.

As for Orpheus, he put the animosity with his daughter aside and worked on saving his son. He headed over to see John (Drake Hogestyn) and suggested they make a deal.

What’s the Truth?

All that drama did not stop Rafe from going over Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) case. He definitely did not think Brady was the stabbing type and pushed the detectives to dig for evidence.

Abby: Drugged and Delusional

Over at the hospital, Abigail (Kate Mansi) continued struggling with hallucinations. It was terrifying for everyone, especially when she thought Jack (Matthew Ashford) was Orpheus. Thankfully, the docs got to the bottom of things. Abby wasn’t slipping — she was drugged!

Harsh Realities

Across the hall, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) had it out with Steve (Stephen Nichols). She was sick of him butting into her life and trying to run the show. She was her own woman, would be with the man SHE chose and would live her life her way and that was that. She did get him a new eye patch, though.

Later, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) had a visit with Steve and they talked about their lives as Gina and SteVano. Hope opened up about her feelings and trying to apologize to everyone. They keep telling her it wasn’t her fault but was it? Were they just not strong enough or try hard enough to overcome the chip? Steve felt much the same way. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
