The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, November 30, 2021, features Susan Banks trying – and failing – to recall hunkalicious Xander Cook, EJ DiMera’s reaction to his dark night of the soul, and Kristen DiMera outsourcing her jailbreak.
Susan (Stacy Haiduk) isn’t the kind of lady who likes to be purposefully rude – that’s more of that mean, mean, mean Kristen’s (also Stacy Haiduk) style. But, and grateful though she is for the mess of flowers, she just can’t place Xander (Paul Telfer)…and she certainly has no idea why he’s thanking her for “showing him the light.” Maybe if he took his shirt off, Susan could understand him better, yes?
Speaking of ladies who don’t like to be rude (yeah, right), Sami (Alison Sweeney) would be forever indebted to Just Jason (Noel Gugliemi) if he’d oblige her two things – the name of the person who ordered her abduction, and some breakfast; she tends to get hangry.
And though there’s no information headed her way, Sami does get some food delivered on a tray heavy enough to render the man handing it to her unconscious…no prize for guessing whether or not Sami uses said tray for said purpose.
Opposite this, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) confessed several truths to Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker). Chief among them: he loves his mommy, and he’s actually really sorry that he was such a lousy husband to Sami. Not that he’d forgive her for cheating on him, or that he feels sorry for calling her a slut, but he’s sorry all the same.
Kristen doesn’t like Statesville. Much like Susan before her, she’s not too thrilled with the institution’s lack of an ice cream sundae bar. Oh, and then there’s the whole problem with not being able to see her daughter thing. Kristen’s solution? Blackmail Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) into helping her escape the SPD. Solid, solid plan.
