Sarah Horton’s been off-screen for a bit longer than a hot minute but DAYS spoilers hint she may be coming home soon. Not today, not tomorrow, maybe not for a few weeks, but soon-ish. Okay, at least they’re talking about her, that has to mean something, right? Our question is, what happens when she makes it back to Salem.
DAYS Spoilers Wild Speculation
Countless fans (including our staff) are expecting an epic love triangle between Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), and sweet Sarah. While we’re sure that’s a good way to go, let’s talk about a very different scenario.
DOOL: Playboy Blues
Think of what life will be like for Sarah when she finally fights her way back to Xander but then finds out what he was really up to while she was gone. Like, you know, marrying Chanel Dupree just days after Sarah went missing. Sure, sure, he thought she ran off with her ex, but that’s no excuse for moving on so fast.
Then, there’s this whole Gwen romance that DAYS spoilers have been teasing for months. It’s one thing drunkenly marrying someone but Xander is truly, madly, and deeply falling for Gwen. That’s going to be quite a hard pill for Sarah to swallow. It’s rough for anyone on a good day, it’s harder for a woman who was viciously kidnapped and stashed away and later comes to find out no one was even looking for her and just moved on with their lives.

Maybe, just maybe, Sarah won’t want to compete for Xander. Maybe this will be her breaking point. She’s forgiven Xander for a lot (um, hi, BABY MICKEY) and stood by him during the very worst of times. But, seeing him being all hearts and stars with another woman while she suffered isn’t easy to get over.

Could we see the end of “Sander” — and, if so, who will be the man to win Sarah’s heart? There are tons of possibilities in this town and a certain priest coming home who gave up his white-collar life before and was in love with Sarah once upon a time.
