Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, April 10, 2020, features Steve losing his memory, Kayla and Marlena teaming up, Kristen and Brady mourning their child, and Sarah’s world turning upside down.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Marlena (Deidre Hall) is out of the hospital and back to her old self. It’s too bad they couldn’t say the same for Steve (Stephen Nichols). He was awake, alert, and not SteVano but there were serious complications. He couldn’t remember anything about his life, not even his own name.
Come Back To Me
Marlena tried hypnosis but when that failed Kayla stepped back in. She sat by Steve’s bedside and (offscreen) told him the story of their past. Doesn’t he remember helping her find her voice on their wedding day? Steve did not. Kayla was devastated and begged him to come back to her.
A Heartbreaking Loss
Over in the visitor’s room, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) spends her first volunteer shift holding babies. However, that did not last long enough for her. The infant fell asleep in her arms and she did not want to let go, even when the nurse insisted.
Brady (Eric Martsolf) also had a hard time letting go after looking over Rachel’s death certificate. His emotions ran run high when Nicole (Arianne Zucker) came upon him. She comforted him but didn’t breathe a word about Rachel being alive, even after Brady confided his suspicions.

The Tragic Truth
Speaking of Rachel, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) had a rough time processing the bombshell. How could her baby not be her baby? Eric gave her the rundown of the series of tragic events and slowly the pieces fell into place for Sarah.
Xander was the one who went to the nursery. Xander was the one who brought the baby back into the room. He was the one who told her it was the same baby even after Sarah wasn’t so sure. It was all because of Xander.
A Blushing Groom
As for Xander, he was dressed and ready for his big day and had the baby all dolled up too. The only thing he was missing was his bride. He worried when she was late and worked himself into a panic.
He breathed a huge sigh of relief when she walked through the door. Little did he know she knew everything and was about to rock his world in the worst way. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
