The parent-child bond is strong on Days of our Lives. And it doesn’t have to be a blood bond. Brady (Eric Martsolf) recently took a bullet while trying to rescue stepmother Marlena (Deidre Hall). He figured it was the least he owed her to pay Marlena back for her patience during his teen years. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is Stefano’s adopted daughter, and she sometimes seems the most like him.
The Backstory
Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) husband, Mickey, wholeheartedly accepted the baby girl she bore as a surrogate mother – then changed her mind and decided to keep. (Of course, at the time, Maggie’s reason for being a surrogate was so she could experience pregnancy. She must have forgotten Summer. And wasn’t everybody happier then?)

Mickey, the baby girl she named after her late adoptive father and raised for almost a year, is really Rachel, Kristen and Brady’s presumed dead daughter. Do the Right Thing
It will hurt like hell, but 64% of you predict Sarah will be the bigger person and return MacRachel to her rightful parents. Sarah is not to blame for the baby switch. Only 36% of the audience expects Sarah to fight to keep her Mackenzie. She’s already almost lost the child to Eric (Greg Vaughan). She won’t go through that kind of pain again.
