The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, September 21, 2020, features Sami facing Allie’s wrath, Nicole putting Eric first, and Jan shaking things up.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Allie (Lindsay Arnold) was back and she was furious. She unleashed on Sami (Alison Sweeney) and really let her have it. How dare Sami butt in and steal her baby?! Of course, Sami had all her usual excuses and reasons.
Mothers At War
Things took a sharp turn Sami’s way when Allie went to get her son and take him to Nicole. No, Allie, you can’t. You may be the mother, but you aren’t the child’s legal guardian anymore. Sami made it clear Allie forfeited that right when she abandoned the baby.
Sami offered to take Allie back to Rome with them. Come home, spend time with the baby, fall in love with your son. Allie wasn’t having it. She vowed to talk to the judge and set things right.
The Heart Wants What The Heart Wants
Speaking of Nicole (Arianne Zucker), she was at the apartment with big ideas about her husband’s future. She and Eric (Greg Vaughan) were happy and in love, but it was clear to her that love was not enough. His heart was in Africa and that’s where he should be.

That Girl Is Poison
Meanwhile, Jan’s (Heather Lindell) presence in town and her interest in Claire (Isabel Durant) had many on edge. Not Claire, though. She thought she found a friend in the baddie and even told Marlena (Deidre Hall) as much. Well, her grandma did not waste any time shutting that down. No, young lady, you stay away from her.
Belle (Martha Madison) was equally as worried. Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) was too. He vowed to kill Jan if needed. Then, he hugged her. Big mistake. The embrace did not go over well with Shawn (Brandon Beemer). Oh, not this again!
All was forgiven when Shawn realized why he was there. They had to team up to take down Jan.
Baddies Unite!
As for Jan, she spent her day in the square talking to Xander (Paul Telfer). They danced around teaming up and were about to strike a deal when Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) showed up. She demanded her man stay away from the psycho.
Later, she also ran into Claire. She wasted no time saying all the right things to get her new friend back on her side. Claire fell for the act hook, line, and sinker. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
