Days of Our Lives Dilemma
Lindsay Arnold, who plays the complicated young woman, will be in the spotlight of the front burner plot. And if the young actress has proven one thing so far, it’s that she can handle the assignment. Here’s what we know about the mystery storyline that’s about to get started.
Driving the Drama
Alison Sweeney, who brings bundles of energy to every scene as Sami, is going to be in the thick of things driving the drama. She’s determined to find out the identity of the young (or possibly older?) man, who knocked up her daughter. And what Sami wants she gets, no matter what she has to do or who she has to roll over to get it.
It will be up to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) to try to temper her, but they’ll likely find that to be an impossible task.

Protecting Allie
While Sami’s steamrolling along to get answers, Allie will seek comfort from her Aunt Nicole (Arianne Zucker). She’s the one person who hasn’t pressured or judged her since she first arrived in Salem… the one person who listens to her point of view and really hears her. Their growing bond will infuriate Sami, but Nicole won’t back off, knowing that Allie truly needs her. Annoying Sami is just a bonus.
Who’s the Daddy?
The mystery plot is set to unravel slowly and deliberately. There will be a few clues and a possible red herring – or two. Days of our Lives Fans might think they know which way the story is going and that they’re en route to figuring the whole mystery out, only to have the soap throw them a wicked curve. As a viewer, you’ll have to really watch and connect all the dots before rushing to a conclusion.
Here’s A Hint
The daddy isn’t going to be someone totally unconnected to the rest of Salem. He’ll have ties to a few of the town’s citizens. Will he be a member or the Kiriakis clan, a new long lost DiMera, or a relative of a more obscure character? It’s going to be a wild and bumpy ride as his identity comes into focus. And, once it does, expect the character to play a pivotal part in what ultimately happens to his new son. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
