The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, October 28, 2020, features Steve searching for Kayla, Evan taking down his dad, Clyde getting what he deserves, and Rolf revealing his outlandish plans.
The hunt for Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) began when Steve (Stephen Nichols) got to the pub. He alerted Roman (Josh Taylor) and the men began the search. They began with the hospital security system and were horrified to see Rolf (William Utay) marching Kayla down the hall.
Rolf held Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) in the lab and laid out his dastardly plan. He still had Stefano’s DNA and intended to use it. Rolf was bound and determined to clone the Phoenix and needed Kayla’s help.
Not only did Rolf need Kayla for lab access, but he also needed her. Rolf chose her to be the woman to carry the embryo and birth the new and improved Stefano DiMera. Kayla was not flattered. She was horrified.
Over at the (not-so) safe house, John (Drake Hogestyn) impatiently waited for Marlena to reappear, which she did, with Evan (Brock Kelly) in tow. Orpheus (George DelHoyo) was pleased until Evan opened his mouth. He was furious with his dad. Evan was doing well in Bayview and wanted to go back, heal his emotional and mental wounds, and start a new life the right way.
In an even more stunning twist, Evan became one of the heroes of the day. Evan lost it when he heard his dad’s plan for a permanent family reunion and attacked him. He did not stick around, though. Evan took off while John was tying up the evildoer.
Kate (Lauren Koslow) was the other hero of the day. It took mere minutes for her to realize Clyde (James Read) had her great-grandson. By sheer luck, Henry became fussy, Clyde became overwhelmed, and Kate ended up with the baby in her arms.
She also managed to get a hold of her gun. Clyde tried to charge her to get the kiddo but Kate wasted no time reacting. She shot Clyde on the spot and left him for dead. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
