The Days of Our Lives recap for September 28-October 2, 2020, features Lani putting her career and her freedom on the line, Ciara’s abductor getting caught, and so much more!
Days of Our Lives Recap Highlights
Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is on a tear. She wants anything and everything that she can lay her hands on that could possibly help in her prosecute Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) – including the duty list, call logs, and the surveillance footage from the day that Kristen managed to slip out of the police station.
But if those items were to be collected and reviewed, it would certainly mean the end for Lani’s (Sal Stowers) career. She did help her BFF escape justice after all. So what are she and Eli (Lamon Archey) supposed to do? Simply hand over the requested items? Purposefully erase any incriminating evidence before it gets into Melinda’s possession?
Lani, somewhat surprisingly, decided to go with option one…much to her detriment. Melinda was spitting mad to witness Lani escorting Kristen out of the interrogation room and she threatened to have her arrested if Eli didn’t work very, very hard to help her prove Kristen’s guilt.
They Asked, He Refused To Answer
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) had lots of questions for Vincent (Michael Teh). Was Ciara (Victoria Konefal) in the car when it exploded? Did he let her go? Does he have her locked up somewhere? Is she even alive? Vincent, however, wasn’t in an answering mood.
DAYS Musings
Another week has gone and we’re still no closer to discovering why Gwen (Emily O’Brien) has such ire where Abigail (Marcy Miller) is concerned. Could she be Andre’s (Thaao Penghlis) long lost love child out to avenge daddy’s murder? Or maybe she’s the product of a liaison between Jack and a past flame? Or maybe she’s pissed that Abby didn’t hold a door open for her or bid her a polite hello on the street. Gwen doesn’t seem the most stable of individuals.
So far, in the battle royale between Phillip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Xander (Paul Telfer), the score stands and 0-1 since Xander actually managed to get his rival arrested for assaulting Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). However, it’s Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn-Douglas (Brandon Beemer) who are emerging as the biggest losers. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
