The Days Of Our Lives recap for June 8-12, 2020, features a week full of surprises in Salem for the audience and characters.
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) is living proof that a lot of hard work and a lot of determination – and just a little bit of lying – can get you exactly what you want. Claire wanted out of Bayview.
So she did her time, actively participated in her therapy, and claimed she was A-Okay…though that whole stealing Ciara’s (Victoria Konefal) save the date card was a little suspect. But we will let it go…for now. Besides, Claire seems right at home with Grandma Marlena (Deidre Hall), Grandpa John (Drake Hogestyn), and the Uno cards…for now.
Ciara would probably be more concerned about her niece’s sudden freedom if it weren’t for the fact that she, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), and Jake (Brandon Barash) are knee-deep in a conspiracy of silence…she’s clearly learned nothing from Victor (John Aniston) and Xander’s (Paul Telfer) mistakes.
But like it or not – and Ciara certainly doesn’t like it – they’ve all agreed to keep mum about Gabi’s (Camila Banus) kidnapping. If only they could get their hands on that much-in-demand item that Jake’s ex stole. Turns out it’s going to be Claire to the rescue since she and the woman in question were thick as thieves back at Bayview.
When in doubt or the family way, know that you can always turn to your mother’s ex-priest twin brother…oh, wait. It’s only Allie (Lindsay Arnold) who can do that? Well, anyway, Allie Horton is finally back in town and she’s got one heck of a secret: she’s having a baby!
Lucas (Bryan Ditilo) isn’t too happy about this recent turn of events but at least Allie has Grandma Kate (Lauren Koslow) – who’s only all-too-happy to remind her son that he and Sami (Alison Sweeney) had Will (Chandler Massey) while younger than Allie. She also has Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) in her corner. Now, if only she knew a couple who might like to take the baby off her hands…
So, a judge awarded custody of David to Zoey (Alyshia Ochse)? To quote Rafe (Galen Gering), “Oh come on!” It’s like this man is incapable of having a win. Even just one small win. If there’s any consolation, it’s the fact that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) is now firmly back in his corner.
So, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) forgave Victor for all his trespasses. Raise your hand if you’re actually surprised. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
