Abigail may have gotten over her little psychotic break with a few weeks of chatting to Grandma on Days of our Lives, but Claire actually required being shipped off to the loony bin.
Days of our Lives Polling
Don’t worry, though, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) has also bounced back from her little pranks, which included arson and flat-out attempted murder. She’s headed home to Salem. But do almost 3,000 fans believe she’s no longer a threat?
Take Your Time, Claire
A winning 68% of the audience can’t believe that Claire has completely healed. The girl was utterly deranged. She tried to kill Ciara (Victoria Konefal)! She thought liking a boy who liked somebody else was an adequate reason for murder!
And, finally, she’s no Abigail (Kate Mansi). Abigail is the town sweetheart. She can be forgiven anything. Claire is the town vixen. She can’t be forgiven anything. Hey, we don’t make the rules. That’s just how it is.
A smaller 26% would like to believe Claire is all better, but you have your doubts. She just seemed so far gone, it’s impossible to believe life can ever go back to normal. It would be nice to think Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn’s (Brandon Beemer) little girl is back on the straight and narrow, but you’re going to need a lot more evidence before you can exhale every time that child comes on screen. Or looks at a match.
And then there are the 6% who will never be convinced that Claire could be reformed. Steve (Stephen Nichols), the thug turned hero? Sure. John (Drake Hogysten), the brainwashed mercenary turned even bigger hero? No doubt.
Jack (Matthew Ashford) the rapist, Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) the baby-snatcher, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) the liar, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) the serial killer… absolutely. But not Claire. She can never be forgiven. Or redeemed. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
