The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, September 9, 2021, features Philip Kiriakis fooled into believing the worst in Brady Black, Paulina Price’s future looking bright, and Rafe Hernandez caught between two lady loves.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Philip’s (Jay Kenneth Johnson) ire, which he directed at Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), was quickly cooled when the scheme team managed to convince him that they were completely innocent of the charge of corporate espionage – despite being guilty as sin.
Furthermore, it was Brady (Eric Martsolf) whom Gabi decided to sacrifice under the wheels of the proverbial bus…which suited Philip just fine; if he’s going to blame somebody, it might as well be his love rival.
And how coincidental was it that Philip just so happened to catch Brady in the Kiriakis mansion deep in conversation with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin)? Thank goodness Brady and Chloe had the good sense not to tell Philip that the former offered the latter refuge at his abode.
After manhandling Brady, and seeing him off, Philip demanded that Chloe quit her job at Basic Black; she countered that she’d only do so if Philip could find proof of Brady’s wrongdoing. Challenge accepted.
DAYS Recap: The Future Is Bright
Though it was the result of quick thinking on her part, lest Abe Carver (James Reynolds) realize the true reason she referred to herself as Jules and Carver’s grandma, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) had to admit she wouldn’t mind at all if she became Abe’s next missus. The fact that Abe seemed pretty gung-ho to discuss the matter was icing the cake.
DOOL Recap: Talk It Out
Since she’s not at all backwards at coming forwards, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) had no problems, whatsoever, with letting Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) know that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has feelings for her.
The news totally took Nicole by surprise, resulting in her fleeing the scene as soon as Rafe entered and finding solace in some ice cream…and since misery loves company, Brady joined Nic for a spoon full – or three.
