Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, October 14, 2020, features Kristen doubling down, Belle dumping Philip, and Hope’s final scenes in Salem. It was an emotional day with a gut-wrenching goodbye.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Claire (Isabel Durant) tried to talk about Ciara’s memorial with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). As far as he was concerned, Ciara was still alive. No confession could convince him otherwise. That changed when new evidence came in.
Is Ciara Really Dead?
Shawn (Brandon Beemer) delivered the crushing news to Hope (Kristen Alfonso) first. They found the bullet casing at the scene which confirmed Vincent’s (Michael Teh) story. Ciara was most certainly dead. Hope was heartbroken. So much so, all she could do was hold a picture of Ciara and cry.
Ben was not as easily convinced, though. There was still a chance Ciara was alive and he intended to prove it. He went to the station, stole Vincent’s gun, and started plotting his next move.
Uncertain Futures
Over at the station, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) came clean and was ready to face her fate. Brady (Eric Martsolf) was not. He tried to talk her into recanting but it was a no-go. Kristen had to save Lani, suffer her consequences, and prove she was a good woman to her daughter.
Meanwhile, Eli (Lamon Archey) bared his soul to Abe (James Reynolds). He spilled all about Melinda’s (Tina Huang) request and his own dirty deed. Abe understood and promised his secret was safe. Lani (Sal Stowers) arrived just as they were hugging it out and expressed her concerns about Kristen changing her plea.
Philip Needs A New Lawyer
Belle (Martha Madison) overheard a strange phone call when she visited Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson). He was on a call with his secret contact plotting “their” next move. “They” needed to take out Xander since Victor once again hired him back. Belle did not like what she heard or anything Philip had to say after that. She dropped him as a client. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
