The minute Jan dropped by to say hi to Claire on Days of our Lives, fans were both petrified – and intrigued. Those who remember everything Jan did when she was Claire’s (Isabel Durant) age – and more recently – were already starting to wonder what might happen if these two holy terrors ever combined forces.

A landslide 92% of you want Jan (Heather Lindell) to stay as far away from Claire as a town the size of Salem allows. Jan can never be anything but a horrible influence on the vulnerable, confused Brady girl. And you know Jan would only use Claire for her own purposes. She wouldn’t care about the damage this might do to Claire.

And people not caring what’s going on with her is what first set Claire on her self-destructive spiral. Claire needs to be surrounded by people who love and care about her, not someone with an agenda. Jan is fresh out of the looney bin. So is Claire. No one could possibly think they might be good for each other.
Fun Times
A much smaller 8% of fans, think Jan and Claire teaming up is a hilariously fun idea. Two generations of Salem crazy is these viewers’ dream! Jan can teach Claire everything she’s learned about causing trouble, and Claire can offer the millennial view on the same. They can bring in social media, Tik-Tok, and Instagram.
There are new ways to ruin people’s lives now, but, deep down, the motives are the same. With Gabi (Camila Banus) gone (for now) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) going through one of her short term ‘look at me, I’m all reformed now’ phases, the fans want some vindictive hot mess to cause trouble, and Jan and Claire could be it!
