Days of our Lives does a good job of bringing beloved characters back for short runs. Sami (Alison Sweeney) still pops up every once in a while. We’ve seen Carrie (Christie Clark) and Mimi (Farrah Fath).

Shawn (Brandon Beemer) and Belle (Martha Madison) have made numerous appearances – which was kind of necessary considering how cuckoo for coco-puffs daughter Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) turned out to be. Heck, they even got their own storyline on the DAYS App, but that’s over now. Shawn is returning next week for a bit, but this time sans Belle.
But have fans gotten their fill or not? What over 14,000 regular viewers would like to see happen:
Visiting Day
Almost 55% of the audience is actually pretty good with how things are now. You don’t really see a permanent place for Shawn and Belle in Salem. You like them as a happy couple, and if they were on all the time, well, you’re wise to the ways of the world.

There would have to be conflict and breakups and fights and third parties and… who needs that? When they only show up once in a while, viewers can believe all is well in the house of Black/Brady. (Even Claire is getting better – off-screen!) So stop by for a visit… then go away again.
More the Merrier
On the other hand, 45% of Days of our Lives fans are dying to be reunited with this Last Blast couple. You watched Shawn and Belle grow up! OK, so you watched Shawn grow up — you even saw him through his little deaf phase.
Belle kind of grew up over a weekend. But you watched them go through high school, skip college, and become professionals anyway. Now you want to see the next era of their lives.
The one where they’re the adults dealing with their own teenager and their careers and their overly dramatic parents. Who need some parenting of their own. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
