Should Kristen and Brady Be Cleared Of All Charges on Days of our Lives?

The wheels of justice turn ever so interestingly on Days of our Lives. The bigger your crime, the more likely you are to get off. The smaller the offense, the more likely there’s jail time in your future.

Days of our Lives Polling

Just ask Gabi (Camila Banus). She goes to prison for things she does – and doesn’t – do. On the other hand, Victor (John Aniston) and Xander (Paul Telfer) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Claire (Isabel Durant), and Abigail (Marci Miller) are skipping about, free as proverbial birds.

Now it’s Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) turn. Sure, she’s killed and kidnapped, and actually did stab Victor in the chest and kill Haley (Thia Megia). But she has a baaaaaabbbbbbyyyyyyyy now. You can’t put a mother in jaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiil. It wouldn’t be faaaaaaaaiiiiiiiir!

Yeah, that’s pretty much the gist of her argument on Days of our Lives. Brady (Eric Martsolf) agrees. He even confessed to the crime to protect her, and now he’s facing charges himself. He has a baaaaaaabbbbbbyyyyy too. Should they go free, as a result?

Let My People Go

Can’t fight the ‘we have a kid’ argument, 75% of fans concur, being a mother and/or father is the get-out-of-jail card every criminal deserves. (Well, except Gabi, obviously.) Everything Kristen has done and anything she will do is forgivable now that she finally has the baby she’s always wanted  — and not a stolen one, this time. Lady Justice is blind… to everything except motherhood.

Lock Them Up

Only 25% of the audience doesn’t see the ability to reproduce as a direct road to lifetime immunity. Kristen did stab Victor. She did kill Haley. And, oh, yeah, she also tried to kill Marlena (Deidre Hall), kidnap Tate, and rape Eric (Greg Vaughan).

Her daddy, Stefano, had more children than he was able to count. But that didn’t make him any less of a bad man. Like father, like daughter. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
