The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, April 22, 2020, features Victor doing damage control, Rachel’s parents realizing the truth, and a new player arriving to shake things up at DiMera.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Xander (Paul Telfer) dreamed of his life with Sarah and all the ups and downs, including her leaving him at the altar. As if that wasn’t sad enough, he woke up to find Victor staring at him. The truth was out, and it was bad, but what’s worse is that Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) may find out. They can’t have that, now can they?

Victor’s next stop was the living room to see Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Will (Chandler Massey). They were mad at themselves for not questioning Sarah more and basically watched her go on the run. They were even more distraught when the realized Maggie as the reason Mickey was dead. The agreed Maggie can never know the truth.

Another Bombshell Hit

Over at the police station, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was up in arms over Rachel’s kidnapping and demanding justice. Brady (Eric Martsolf) felt the sting too but tried to talk her down. How can they blame Sarah after she loved the baby for an entire year?

Kristen yelled at the pilot, lost it on the cops, and even had some words for those standing by her. The stress was unreal. However, it got worse when they put more pieces together and realized Victor also knew all along. Brady and Kristen beelined it to the mansion. Meanwhile, in Paris, Sarah took Mickey to an apartment to settle into their new life.

The DiMera War Waged On

Chad (Billy Flynn) told his wife about the baby swap drama and expressed his sympathy for his sister. It was a shock but Abby understood Sarah’s side. What mother could cut ties at the drop of a hat? Oh well, there was nothing they could do. They dropped it and put their concentration into taking down Gabi.

Gabi Plead Her Case

Speaking of Gabi (Camila Banus), she was shocked to walk into her office and see Stefan. She was more shocked to find out it wasn’t him. It was Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), the new boss in town. He was on there on his dad’s behalf to cement everyone’s roles in the company.

Gabi lobbied for herself by throwing Chad under the bus. Did Shin know Chad was brainwashed and tried to kill people less than a week ago? Doesn’t that trump her bad behavior? By the time Chad came in there room, Shin was pretty entertained by Gabi’s slander campaign. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
