The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, April 22, 2020 features Adam refusing to believe what Victor is telling him, Alyssa refusing to help Victoria, Kyle refusing to gloat, and Phyllis refusing to cry ‘uncle’.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Adam (Mark Grossman) didn’t believe it when Victor (Eric Braeden) told him a preteen Adam defended Hope by shoving AJ hard enough to kill him. Hope called Victor to fix the situation and he and the coroner made it look like an accidental fall. Adam thought Victor is playing him and swears that his father won’t beat Adam with this.
Don’t Look Here
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wanted Alyssa to help her expose Adam, but Alyssa urged Victoria to have some compassion towards her brother. Nah, Victoria didn’t wanna. She promised to protect Alyssa from Victor, too, but Alyssa has had enough of all the Newmans and hightails it out of town.
Kyle: Suddenly Sympathetic
Now that Kyle (Michael Mealor) has beaten Theo (Tyler Johnson) and gotten him fired, he suddenly remembered that Theo used to be his friend, and that, even during their most competitive days, Kyle was a rich kid with nothing to lose, while Theo had no safety net. (Theo may not have been rich, but he was hardly a street urchin. Everything we’ve heard about his family made him seem solidly middle-class.)
Kyle was magnanimous around Theo, though Summer (Hunter King) decided to pour some salt into his wounds, just in case. Then Kyle and Summer had sex. Because they don’t know any other way to end a conversation.
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) overheard Jack (Peter Bergman) on the phone lamenting that a construction site of his has been shut down due to fossils being found on site. Suddenly, Phyllis felt like an attack of Indiana Jones coming on… but this time for Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) construction site. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
