Days of our Lives Recap
The Days of Our Lives recap for Thursday, February 13, 2020, features Shawn fighting for his mother, Kayla fighting her feelings, and Gabi fighting just about everyone.
Shawn (Brandon Beemer) was on a mission to save his family. He called Ciara (Victoria Konefal), begged her to stay away from Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), and then got to work on his mother. Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso) swore Hope was gone forever but Shawn was not about to give up.
He took her into an interrogation room and tried to coax his mother out. Sadly, Gina was stronger than anyone could ever imagine.
Meanwhile, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) fumed when “Steve” (Stephen Nichols) demanded she sticks around. SteVano couldn’t risk her learning his secret so he made every excuse to keep her in his sights.
It was not a good look and Kayla just about had enough. How did this man go from being the love of her life to her biggest annoyance? Of course, she still had no idea Steve thinks he’s Stefano.
Meanwhile, Gabi (Camila Banus) kept her end goals in sight as she prepared or her big day. She and her tech guy took care of Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) new pacemaker. She couldn’t risk losing control over Lani, right? By the end of the day that would be the least of her worries.
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abby (Kate Mansi) told Gabi the strange tale of Stefano’s return. The nitty-gritty details were completely unbelievable and Gabi acting like the two were loons. However, the mere possibility of The Phoenix coming after her had her shaking in her stilettos.
As for Lani, she spent her day whining to JJ (Casey Moss). She knew Gabi had the upper hand was scared she would lose Eli (Lamon Archey) forever. JJ assured her that wouldn’t be the case. (Does JJ have a plan?) His assurance did little to alleviate her stress.
Over at the hospital, Julie prepared for her surgery. She was hopeful the docs could do their job and get her back on her feet in time for the wedding. This was one she refused to miss. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
