It’s said that the Devil’s work is never done, so clearly someone met the feller currently occupying the vessel known as Dr. Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall). It’s still midmorning in Salem, and the Prince of Darkness has already gifted Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) an evil-filled bauble – which looks suspiciously like the necklace worn by Rosemary of Rosemary’s Baby fame (a film which the expectant young couple claim to have watched) – and rocked Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) world by telling her that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) treats Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) like the daughter she never had, because she is the daughter that Paulina didn’t raise!

DAYS Recap: Eye of the Beholder

On the one hand, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) is pretty depressed that he couldn’t convince an amnesiac to marry him and birth his babies. On the other, he’s none too thrilled to hear that Ciara – said amnesiac – is pregnant with Ben’s child. So selfish of that one to remember the man she really loves!

But since Theo’s such a magnanimous fellow, he decided to grace his ex with his presence and dole out his congratulations…and give her a hug that lingered far too long. A lesser man than Ben might have pulled out a necktie to warn this love rival away.

DOOL Recap: Mother May I Court Danger?

Belle Brady (Martha Madison) is having a heck of a time getting some serious shuteye – and she’s pretty certain it has everything to do with how strange her mom’s been acting as of late.

In need of a distraction, Belle decides that she’d love to tackle a big court case – and boy was she presented with a doozy. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) wants to sue for the right to see her husband. The defendant? Dr. Marlena Evans Black!
