The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, October 8, 2021, features Maggie Horton Kiriakis making the rounds, the Devil finding someone other than Marlena Evans Black interesting, Chloe Lane accusing Philip Kiriakis of being in the wrong, and Jake DiMera reflecting on his less than savory past.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Without a dying daughter to care for, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was suddenly at a loss for something to do. Luckily, she learned that Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) needed some comforting – so to Julie’s side Maggie ran.
The women were later joined by Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) – who heard about her grandfather’s institutionalization from Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer)…who we might add is in South Africa.
Meanwhile, a troubled Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) made an appointment to see Marlena (Deidre Hall), during which he expressed his fears over bringing a mini-him into the world. Marlena offered Ben her wise counsel, and he ultimately decided that he and Ciara shall remain childless – or, at the very least, biologically childless…and that did not sit well with the Devil. He wants Ben and Ciara to procreate, and he expects Marlena to talk Ben into it!

DAYS Recap: A Matter of Trust
How best to respond to seeing your girlfriend all up on her ex-husband? Why, saw down the sapling that’s important to the both of you, of course! Gosh, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) has the best ideas.
And while he’s at it, why not get all up in Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) face and accuse her of having sexual relations with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf)? That’ll really endear him to her. NOT!
DOOL Recap: Confession
Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) just has to know…did Jake (Brandon Barash) kill a man? Not really, came the reply. However, Jake was an accessory to the murder so….luckily for him, Gabi isn’t in a position to judge too harshly (hello Nick Fallon!), and she’s not about to let him go down for a crime he didn’t commit; GabiChic be damned!
