The Days of Our Lives recap for December 21-25, 2020, features new additions to two of Salem’s most prominent families and Christmas celebrations galore.
All Lani (Sal Stowers) wanted for Christmas was two happy and healthy babies…and her wish came true. The extended Horton/Carver families grew by two and for just a few minutes, all seemed right with the world.
Of course, the couple has not come up with names for their little girl and little boy because their (former) marital problems got in the way of such a big decision.
Boy, Charlie (Mike Manning) really went from zero to crazy to in no time flat huh? One minute he’s a flustered mess caught between a rock and hard place. The rock’s Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson), scheming boss number one. Xander (Paul Telfer), boss number two is the hard place. The next he’s holding Mama Vitali hostage and force-feeding her porridge. Claire (Isabel Durant) really knows how to pick ’em, doesn’t she?
First Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and now Lucas (Bryan Dattilo). Don’t you think it’s time for Tripp (Lucas Adams) to start holding his attackers responsible for their actions instead of letting them go free?
And speaking of Tripp, how frustrated were you to hear Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) admit that she had not run a PATERNITY test but rather a test to determine whether there was ANY type of relationship between Tripp and Henry Lucas? Wouldn’t the former have been far more appropriate and far less open to interpretation?
Even though the reconciliation between Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Cady McClain) is inevitable, wasn’t it a bit hard not seeing the two together at Christmas?
Which absentee Horton Christmas tree ornament was the most egregious? Addie? Tommy? Marie? And wouldn’t it have been nice to have Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) present and to be the one who hung her and her family’s baubles?
Bonnie (Judi Evans) seems to REALLY be growing on Justin (Wally Kurth). But can you ever accept an actual romance between the two especially when it seems like he is looking at Adrienne?
All in all, who made out with the best Christmas present? Belle (Martha Madison) and Shawn (Brandon Beemer) who got a wedding do-over or Lani and Eli who welcomed their miracle babies? Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
