The Days of Our Lives recap for Tuesday, January 28, 2020, features Shawn’s return to Salem, Lani flipping her lid, Eli and Gabi setting a date, and SteVano and Gina each coming close to blowing their covers.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Eli (Lamon Archey) dreamed of Lani (Sal Stowers) but woke up with Gabi (Camila Banus). He made the best of it, though and he and Gabi set a date for their big day. They are set to wed on Valentine’s Day.
Over at the loft, JJ (Casey Moss) finally fessed up to Lani. He told her the whole story of accidentally pushing Eli to propose and how he even agreed to be the best man. Lani lost it at first but JJ informed her he had a plan. The closer he gets the couple the better the chances of getting rid of that dreaded app.
Their plans were interrupted when Gabi and Eli came by. Lani hid in the other room and heard the couple tell JJ their good news. Their wedding is just weeks away and they need all hands on deck. Lani realized she had to rush her revenge plot as well.
A Shocking Conclusion
Meanwhile, Shawn (Brandon Beemer) was back and his first stop was the station, but not to see his mom. He first met with Rafe (Galen Gering) and got the low down on his mom’s strange behavior.
It wasn’t long before he saw it all for himself. Every move “Hope” made was way off, even while they were alone. “Hope” chalked it up to Rafe pressuring her but Shawn saw right through her. He came to a shocking conclusion — that was NOT his mother!
Speaking of “Hope”, Kate (Lauren Koslow) warned Marlena (Deidre Hall) to keep her distance. Kate kept mum on what she knew but said enough to pique Marlena’s interest. Hope was definitely after John and who knew how far she would go.
SteVano Made A Mistake
Over in Prague, SteVano (Stephen Nichols) also had a hard time keeping himself in check. His jealousy over John (Drake Hogestyn) had his temper flaring but it got worse when the ran into Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna (Leann Hunley). He heard about the happenings at his company and he lost it. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
