Days of Our Lives Recap
The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, November 4, 2019, features a wedding day disaster for one couple and a beautiful moment for another.
It was Lani’s (Sal Stowers) wedding day but it was anything but happy. The couple made it to the altar but that’s where everything fell apart.
Lani (Sal Stowers) stopped the ceremony to make a heartfelt plea to Gabi (Camila Banus). She thanked her for coming and tearfully apologized for killing Stefan. She even spoke highly of the widow for live streaming the ceremony to Doug and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Sadly, it was not enough to get Gabi to back down. Gabi taunted her and made it abundantly clear Lani must bend to her will.
When it was time for Lani to say her vows, she envisioned attacking Gabi but her daydream turned into a nightmare when her rival clicked the app and murdered Julie. She had no choice but to say no and run from the venue.
Gabi got her way and Eli (Lamon Archey) was destroyed. He ran after his almost-bride and begged for an explanation. Lani tried to reason with him but then tore his heart open and said she didn’t love him enough to get married (ouch!).
Abe (James Reynolds), Tamara (Marilyn Coo), and Gabi ran around town hunting for the couple. Eli pointed the way for Lani’s parents and found himself falling into Gabi’s arms.
The wedding guests were stuck in a land of confusion but the drama did not end with the bride and groom. Marlena (Deidre Hall) had it out with Xander (Paul Telfer), Xander begged Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to stay, and Sarah made it clear to everyone her bags were packed and she was leaving soon.
Meanwhile, Justin (Wally Kurth) and Adrienne (Judi Evans) did not make it to the couple’s disaster wedding. As it turned out, Justin had big plans of his own. Instead of showing up for Lani and Eli, he wanted to create his own romantic day. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
