Days of our Lives Recap: Kristen Nearly Lost It

The Days of Our Lives recap for Monday, December 30, 2019, features a bitter ex, temper tantrums, and big, new plans.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) nearly went off the rails when she spied Nicole (Arianne Zucker) locking lips with Brady (Eric Martsolf). Seeing them kiss was bad, but watching them slide into Eric’s apartment was way, way worse. She went back to the hotel room to contemplate her next move.

She ranted, she raved, and she plotted Nicole’s death. Thankfully, Lani (Sal Stowers) talked her down. They want to win back their men but murder was not the answer.

No Means No

What Kristen didn’t know is Brady put on the brakes and cooled things down. Yes, he adores Nicole, sure, he’s even attracted to her. But, this was not the right time and Eric’s home was definitely not the right place to pick things up again.

Lani: Damage Control

As for Lani, she spent her day hiding from her own violent act. Destroying Gabi Chic was a bad call and could cost her. All she could do was pray she did enough to cover her tracks.

Over at the store, Gabi (Camila Banus) and Eli (Lamon Archey) hunted for clues and tried to figure out who would attack her store. They found the flowerpot but no hard evidence (at least not yet). Gabi has a lot of enemies so it could be just about anyone.

The Phoenix Is Rising

In a bit of a twist, they thought they got their answer at the police station. Marlena (Deidre Hall) was there with another mysterious present and demanded the cops take prints. They did, and “Hope” announced everyone’s suspicions were right and Stefano was back! Of course, she left out the part where Stefano is now Steve.

Speaking of SteVano, he struggled with his new reality and worked with Kate (Lauren Koslow) to come up with a plan. He needed an easy way to get around town and thought it best to wander about past Patch. He has this new face so why not use it?

A Quirky Ally

Downstairs, Hattie tried to flirt with Roman (Josh Taylor) but he turned her down flat. It’s okay, she said, at least she can still have her job and be part of the crowd. They all share a pretty wild secret and that’s a bond that will keep them all close for a good, long time (or at least she hopes). Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
