The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, October 26, 2021, features a wrathful Kristen DiMera beginning a rampage, Philip Kiriakis and Ava Vitali finding themselves in hot water, and Lucas Horton sticking his nose in where it doesn’t belong… as a good brother should.
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) had but one thing to say to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) – well, it wasn’t so much “saying” as it was “slapping soundly across his pretty face.” After recovering from the shock of it all, EJ wanted to know exactly what he did to deserve his sister’s ire.
Color him shocked to hear that Kristen thinks that he sold her out. That was Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) doing…with an assist from Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) – but EJ wasn’t about to share that last part with Kristen.
Instead, EJ offered her shelter – on the proviso that she stay well out of sight; he hears that the wine cellar is particularly cozy this time of year. Kristen, however, isn’t content with staying under the radar. No, she’d rather pop over to John and Marlena’s penthouse in order to see her baby girl. It’s a terrible idea, but so are most of the ones Kristen has.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) doesn’t know much, even at the best of times; but he does know that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) is bad news. Sure, he’s pretty sure that Jake’s story about being an innocent eyewitness to Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) shooting is true, but Jake is still a rotten apple.
But Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) isn’t about to take that appraisal of her boyfriend lying down – not when Rafe is having sex with the former mafioso who got the whole ball rolling by handing over info that could get Jake in trouble with Johnny Law. So take that Rafe!
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) really likes Philip…but she also really likes Brady Black (Eric Martsolf). What’s a girl to do, but play them off one another? At least Nicole gets it. She’s got the hots for Rafe – who’s very much taken – and EJ…neither one a real prize.
It’s just too bad that Nicole doesn’t have someone watching her back like Philip; Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) isn’t about to stand for Brady messing up his brother’s chance at love. Come hell or high water, Brady’s gonna steer clear of Chloe, so sayeth Lucas.
