The Days of our Lives recap for Thursday, November 5, 2020, features Bonnie raising another white flag, Jake helping out a friend, and Gwen giving Abigail a big surprise.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
Abigail (Marci Miller) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) were putting the finishing touches on their party plans. First, Gwen had a gift from her friend. She shocked Abigail with JJ (Casey Moss). Abby was thrilled, of course.
Welcome Back, Brother
JJ was happy to be home for a visit. He told Abby about his life overseas. He is doing good work and it is excellent for his soul. It is just too bad Haley could not be there with him.
Is This A Date?
Upstairs, Chad (Billy Flynn) officially invited Kate (Lauren Koslow) to the party. She was not sure if she should show up but he insisted. In fact, bring a date!
Kate ran into Jake (Brandon Barash) at the square and asked him to be her plus one. Why not? They don’t exactly like the family so at least they’d have each other to pal around with for the night.
Ben’s Staying Put
Speaking of Jake, he managed to bail Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) out of jail. He even offered him his old room at the garage. However, Ben wanted to feel closer to Ciara and opted to stay in their room at the hotel.
Gwen’s Revenge Begins
Back at the mansion, Abigail and Gwen were snooping through Kate’s room for a pair of sparkly shoes. A box was knocked over (on purpose) and Abigail found a concerning envelope (just as Gwen planned).
Bonding With Bonnie
Jack (Matthew Ashford) went to check on Justin (Wally Kurth). The legal eagle was emotional and told Jack about what went down with Bonnie (Judi Evans). Jack did not agree with forgiving her but Justin stood his ground. He needed to do it so he could finally truly move on.
As for Bonnie, she ran into Jennifer (Cady McClain) in the square. The ladies exchanged some heated words at first. However things calmed down rather quickly. Bonnie even managed to warm Jen’s heart too. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
