The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, November 25, 2020, features a Horton family holiday steeped in tradition. Unfortunately, a very important member does not quite make the cut this year.
Days of our Lives Reap Highlights
Jake (Brandon Barash) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) were caught in bed by Gwen (Emily O’Brien). They were asleep, though, and had no idea about the invasion. Instead, the couple woke up, decided the shop was not quite a luxury love shack, and wondered if it was time to go public.
Maniacal Manipulations
Gwen took her newfound intel and ran with it. She headed home, sent Abigail to make up with her mom, and got to work. Her first stop was upstairs to see Chad (Billy Flynn). She pretended to not know where Abigail went and suggested she snuck off to see Jake. He ran to the shop to see if it was true. It was not.
Forever A Family
As for Abigail, she showed up at the hotel and made up with Jennifer (Cady McClain). As far as Jen was concerned, there was nothing to forgive. Sure, Abigail’s timing was terrible but it was Jack’s fault.
Gwen Continued Her Games
Abigail was relieved and went home to collect Chad and the kids. She invited Gwen to join them who then suggested they invite Jake. Abigail was reluctant but took the idea to Chad. He turned her down flat. No worries, it was Gwen’s idea anyway.

A Lonely Holiday
Meanwhile, Jack (Matthew Ashford) showed up at Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) with flowers. Julie was not having it though. She slammed the door in his face and told him to stay away. He was not welcome.
Jack came in anyway and plead his case. He screwed up but for good reason. He thought Jen was gone forever. Julie relented and let him stay just long enough to see Jennifer. It was an awkward encounter and Jack ended up leaving anyway.
Poor Jack went to the pub for a hearty Thanksgiving salad. He was not alone long, though. After their traditional Horton holiday, Abigail and JJ (Casey Moss) tracked him down and joined him.
Gwen Went Too Far
Later, at the mansion, Gwen approached Chad to thank him for letting her join the family holiday. She then thanked him for not inviting Jake and played it off as Abigail’s idea. Chad knew better, though. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
