Days of our Lives Recap: Gwen Schemes To Keep Xander Away From Rex

The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, December 7, 2021, features Gwen Rizczech on a selfish mission, Victor Kiriakis playing hardball, and Chloe Lane throwing Brady Black in front of a proverbial bus.

Just so her position is absolutely clear, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is not jealous of Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Instead, she’s running scared that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will drop everything – including her – to go and rescue his ex should he learn that she’s not swanning around Chicago with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder).

Therefore, Gwen’s got to prevent Xander and Rex from ever crossing paths – which is easier said than done, considering the fact that Rex is back in Salem, and has zero problems correcting anyone under the misapprehension that he and Sarah have been playing house.

DAYS Recap: Wheeler Dealers

Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) have spunk. Victor (John Aniston) hates spunk. However, he does like the idea of getting a seat on the board of directors at DiMera Enterprises – and Gabi and Jake swear that they can make that happen. So, Victor will entertain the idea of letting one or both of them run Titan…you know until he betrays them like he betrays everyone unlucky enough to toil for him.

And speaking of familial betrayals, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is just all kinds of awful, so complaineth Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) was shocked, shocked she said.

DOOL Recap: No Such Thing As Multiple Coincidences

Nope, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) doesn’t think for a minute that Brady (Eric Martsolf) might have hurt Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). Sure, she did have to admit to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) that Brady was covered in blood that matches Philip’s type. And yes, Philip’s cellphone was found in Brady’s jacket pocket. Oh, and Brady didn’t exactly say nice things about Philip the last time that they spoke. But he’s totally innocent of any wrongdoing.
