The Days of our Lives Recap for Wednesday, January 13, 2021, features Abigail getting a rude awakening, Bonnie dishing some interesting gossip, and Reynor’s boss shows up.
Day of our Lives Recap Highlights
Abigail (Marci Miller) woke to find Gwen (Emily O’Brien) on the couch and Chad (Billy Flynn) full of excuses. He claimed the children need a chance to say goodbye. Abby relented and agreed. Kiss the kids bye-bye then pack your bags and get out.
Gwen Put Her Foot Down
Abby went to talk to her parents. They went back through the letter scandal and realized Gwen was out to destroy their family. Well, Abigail was not going to stand for it.
Gwen wasted no time laying into Chad. She demanded he finds a way to keep her there, or else. Chad was silent. Instead, he left and went to find Kate. He spilled all the dirty details of his affair. Kate urged him to come clean before it was too late.
The Truth Came Out
Abby raced home to get in Gwen’s face. She confronted her about the letter debacle and demanded a confession. Oh, Gwen confessed all right. However, instead of admitting to manipulation, she revealed she slept with Chad!
The Search Heated Up
Meanwhile, Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) got themselves together and started a rogue investigation to find their babies. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) showed up to check on the couple and make soup. The trio discussed suspects. Lani was leaning towards Vivian but Julie thought it had to be Gabi. Thankfully, Gabi’s name was cleared with one call to Will (Chandler Massey).
Heroes And Villains
A huge break in the case came when Justin (Wally Kurth) and Bonnie (Judi Evans) met up for breakfast. He told her about the missing babies and she talked about coming across a woman with twins just yesterday. Justin asked all the right questions and they realized she may have seen the kidnapper. He got right on the phone with the new parents.
Over in a safe house, Dr. Raynor (Victoria Platt) did her best to quiet the crying babies. Just after she got them settled down there was a knock at the door. Well, it’s about time you showed up, she said. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
