The Days of our Lives recap for Wednesday, September 29, 2021, features Gwen Rizczech and Xander Cook, and Gabi Hernandez DiMera and Jake DiMera laying their best plans, Brady Black trying to talk some sense into an ex, and Abigail Deveraux DiMera doubting her sister’s sincerity to their father Jack Deveraux.

So many things to get straight, so little time. Firstly, are Gwen (Emily O’Brien) and Xander (Paul Telfer) girlfriend and boyfriend? Yes? Good…good…progress. Secondly, how to convince that slimy judge to look favorably upon Xander? Intimidation? A good old-fashioned beating? How about Gwen gets her best hooker *sorry* sex worker gear on and entraps him? Sure, that could work.

DAYS Recap: A Cry for Help

If the definition of insanity really is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, then Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker) is certifiable. How else to explain her decision to go out with ex-husband number four (if we’re counting that awful, awful Trent Robins), EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)? Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) washes his hands of it all if this blows up in her face.

DOOL Recap: Dueling Duos

Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) really, really dislikes Gabi (Camila Banus) – which is probably why she went from, “No, Philip Kiriakis, I will not help you destroy Gabi and Jake,” to “Yes, Philip Kiriakis, I will help you destroy Gabi and Jake…if you let me run Gabi Chic,” in about 10 seconds flat. Fingers crossed cousin Angelo has the goods on ole Jakey.

In the meantime, Jake and Gabi are busy making plans of their own – but they won’t be murderous; Jake isn’t about that mob life anymore; get that thought right out of your head, Gabi!
