The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, October 11, 2019, features Gabi letting go, Xander going for broke, and Kayla hearing proverbial alarm bells.
DAYS Recap Highlights
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) moving into the Kiriakis mansion caused Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to be in even more of a rush to move out. She put Xander (Paul Telfer) on notice and made her plans perfectly clear. Xander realized he’d have to fight to keep her and pulled her in for a hot and heavy kiss.
Big mistake. Sure, the kiss was something else but that didn’t change anything for Sarah. She pushed him away and stormed off to quit her job and prepared for her departure.
Things changed once she got to the hospital. There was no time to give notice. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) told her to scrub in for emergency surgery — Julie’s surgery.

Begging For It
Gabi (Camila Banus) agreed to let Stefan (Brandon Barash) go in order to save Julie. However, she had one shocking demand first — she wanted the woman who killed her husband to beg for his heart.
But, that wasn’t all. Gabi didn’t just make Lani (Sal Stowers) beg for the heart, she made her get on her knees. Gabi ranted, raved, and unleashed on Lani. It was a torturous game and Lani had no choice but to do everything Gabi said. Lani’s pleas paid off, though. Gabi paved the way for Julie to get Stefan’s heart.
