Days of our Lives Recap: Gabi Broke Down In Mourning

The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, October 16, 2019, featured a day of heartbreak, rivalries, and deception. Jordan was under fire, Sarah’s secret threatened to come out, and Gabi had a tearful emotional breakdown.

Days of Our Lives Recap Highlights

Eric (Greg Vaughan) was shocked to hear Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) escape plan but understood why. She loved him and she lost him and it’s too much to watch him be with someone else. Little did he know, there was another big reason for her rushed move.

The secret may not stay that way much longer. Xander (Paul Telfer) begged and pleaded with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to keep the truth under wraps but will she? Nicole claimed to understand the gravity of spilling but keeping mum means destroying Eric in the end.

Heartbreak and Deep Loss

Over in the chapel, Gabi (Camila Banus) struggled to deal with Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) death. She finally found her perfect match only to be robbed of happiness. Gabi was a puddle of tears when Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) came along.

They took Gabi home and put her to bed. No, things will not look brighter in the morning, but every hour that passed was one they hoped would bring her healing energy.

Bad Blood Runs Cold

Fireworks exploded in the square when Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Jordan (Chrishell Hartley) faced off. He may not be able to prove she tried to run over Ciara BUT he knows all about that elevator incident. He was not happy and Rafe (Galen Gearing) was also appalled.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Taking Control

As for Ciara (Victoria Konefal), she was over visiting Victor (John Aniston). Seeing his granddaughter cemented what Victor already knew — he had to protect her at all costs. The second she was out of the room he called a hit on Jordan.

Within an hour a pizza delivery man surprised Jordan by showing up at Rafe’s door. It was Victor’s hitman and he was seconds away from taking her out. This was her lucky day, though.
