The Days of Our Lives recap for Wednesday, October 16, 2019, featured a day of heartbreak, rivalries, and deception. Jordan was under fire, Sarah’s secret threatened to come out, and Gabi had a tearful emotional breakdown.

Eric (Greg Vaughan) was shocked to hear Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) escape plan but understood why. She loved him and she lost him and it’s too much to watch him be with someone else. Little did he know, there was another big reason for her rushed move.
The secret may not stay that way much longer. Xander (Paul Telfer) begged and pleaded with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to keep the truth under wraps but will she? Nicole claimed to understand the gravity of spilling but keeping mum means destroying Eric in the end.
Heartbreak and Deep Loss
Over in the chapel, Gabi (Camila Banus) struggled to deal with Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) death. She finally found her perfect match only to be robbed of happiness. Gabi was a puddle of tears when Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) came along.

Bad Blood Runs Cold
