The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, November 19, 2021, gives veracity to the adage the Devil’s work is never done, everybody ganging up on Paulina Price and giving Tamara Price a pass, and things heating up between Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
First on the Devil’s to-do list: stop a fleeing Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) from getting any aid. Second: sex up John Black (Drake Hogestyn). The only problem is that John is taking those vows that he made to Marlena Evans Black (Deidre Hall) seriously.
The nerve of that man! How can he resist the banging bod of OG Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson)? How can he say no to one of the three greatest loves of his life? Might it have something to do with the real Kristen deciding to throw him by the wayside and hook up with his son – the one that Kristen herself helped tend to when he was a tyke?
Yeah, it’s as weird as it sounds. In fact, that might be the weirdest part of this whole thing, and that’s counting the literal Devil taking over Marlena, and then Susan Banks’s (Stacy Haiduk) body.
Speaking of Marlena…she managed to get her hands on a discarded cell phone. But, before she could make a call for help, Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) issued her own SOS. So selfish, that one. Making Marlena’s crisis all about her crisis.

DAYS Recap: Mama Drama
Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) isn’t the least bit pleased to learn that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is her biological mother…and she let her feelings be known via the slap she delivered to Paulina’s face!
After stifling the urge to retaliate, Paulina sat down, and shared her tale of woe; Lani blasted Paulina for her deception, whined and cried, then stomped off. Paulina remained behind to sniff a lock of Lani’s childhood hair.
DOOL Recap: Eye of the Beholder
Chanel (Raven Bowens) might blame herself for upending Paulina and Lani’s lives, but Johnny (Carson Boatman) thinks that she’s blameless. And hey, at least she told the truth instead of perpetuating a lie. Cue the make-out session. Cue the trip to the bedroom. Cue the clothes hitting the floor.
