Days of our Lives Recap: Claire’s Moving In With Marlena

Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, June 9, 2020, featured Claire pushing back, WilSon reporting Gabi’s disappearance, and Nicole surprising Eric.

Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) was more than happy she was getting released, but not so pleased about being taken back to Hong Kong. She balked at the very idea and told her parents that scenario wouldn’t work. Couldn’t she just live with grandma? Shawn and Belle put the idea to Marlena who agreed to bring her home.

The Calm Before the Storm

Meanwhile, Rafe (Galen Gering) was on cloud nine waiting for the judge’s decision. There was no way he can lose, right? Especially after Hope’s testimony. He caught up with her and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) in the square and was all smiles as he planned his future with his son. Rafe also expressed his worry over Gabi. Where was his sister anyway? That panic was pushed aside when he was called back to the courtroom.

Bring In The Cops

Over at the garage, Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) pushed for the truth to no avail. They stormed out and went to the station instead to report Gabi (Camila Banus) missing. Ciara warned Jake (Brandon Barash) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) that Rafe was already on alert. She pushed them to tell him. They agreed they would search for Gwen for a few more hours then call the detective.

Surprise Wedding Plans For Eric and Nicole

Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) proved great minds think alike when they each planned a surprise wedding for the other. Eric turned to Abe (James Reynolds) for help and Nicole asked Marlena (Deidre Hall) for a hand. She wanted to make the day really special and invite Sami (Alison Sweeney).

Eric’s plans were derailed when Nicole got home and they each shared their intentions. He was disappointed they wouldn’t wed today, but pleased as punch she wanted his sister there.

Help Me Help Them

Over at the DiMera mansion, Jen (Melissa Reeves) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) caught up with Kate (Lauren Koslow). She was still on her mission to get Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Hope to accept the key to the city. Jack and Jen refused to help but promised to cover the ceremony if it ever happens.
