While there aren’t any new General Hospital spoilers yet, that won’t stop us from trying to figure out where the show plans to go when new episodes return. When they left off, Nelle revealed that she and Julian are now married. While that caused a huge commotion in court, we bet there’s yet to be an even bigger reaction.

That’s because Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has yet to learn what her ex-husband Julian (William deVry) is up to — and it’s a pretty safe bet that she will not take it well. Sure, she had let him go when he was with Kim (Tamara Braun), but she realized how good Kim had been, helping to keep his better angels insight. But Nelle (Chloe Lanier)?
There’s no way Alexis will sit still for that. She knows he doesn’t love Michael’s (Chad Duell) scheming ex, no matter how far he may have fallen after things with Kim bit the dust. And when Alexis sets her mind on something, she won’t let go. She will hound Julian until he confesses the truth — but will he?
After all, if he does that, there’s a good chance Alexis will shun him until the end of time. Being responsible for his son’s accident that almost killed him will bring up bad memories for her. It wasn’t that long ago that Julian held a knife to her own neck, threatening to kill her.

Alexis To The Rescue?
But both Julian and Alexis have been through a lot since that horrible night on the pier. She has seen his growth, as he has seen hers. Perhaps because of that, it doesn’t seem possible that Alexis will simply give up on her ex and let him continue to be blackmailed — which she will figure out in about half a second. Bet it will become her mission to get the goods on Nelle.
This could be the best thing to happen to Michael (Chad Duell). After all, he’s fighting Nelle and Julian for custody of Wiley. His lawyer is Alexis’s BFF, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy). Saving Julian from Nelle’s grasp could benefit them all. And Alexis is just the woman with the talent and motivation to do it.
