The Days of our Lives recap for Monday, August 9, 2021, features Ben Weston’s plan going off with two major hitches, Sami Brady DiMera reaping what she sowed, and Nicole Walker Brady catching Rafe Hernandez up on everything that he’s missed.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlight
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) deposited Ciara (Victoria Konefal) at the cabin where they first fell in love – much to the bride-to-be’s chagrin. She demanded that Ben let her go; he implored her to take in her spruced-up surroundings and see if it sparks a memory.
She pretended to do so…then went on the attack! Ben was downed with a twisted ankle, and Ciara made her escape to the waiting limo. Then, to her and Ben’s surprise, she made her way back to the cabin to check on her victim.
DAYS Recap: Confession, Good For the Soul, Bad For A Marriage
No, Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) ears didn’t deceive her. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) did indeed accuse her of being an adulteress. It was a charge Sami strenuously denied…until she didn’t. She copped to sleeping with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) while Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) prisoner – then EJ produced his sister’s missive, and Sami was forced to admit to an earlier tryst, her credibility pretty much shot.
DOOL Recap: Man On A Mission
Lucas was a man on a mission – and that mission was to cut Nicole off at the pass before she revenged herself on Sami. Too late! His next move was to warn Sami that her secret was rumbled…but EJ not so happily confirmed he missed that boat as well.
Days of our Lives Recap: Last To Know
Rafe (Galen Gering) paid Nicole what he presumed would be a quick, friendly visit, but he wound up getting a front-row seat to her myriad of confessions – she slept with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), her marriage is over, she ruined Sami’s – as well as a rumble between her and Sami!
