Days of our Lives Recap: Christmas Is A Time For Romance

The Days of our Lives recap for Tuesday, December 22, 2020, features Maggie and Victor gathering their loved ones for an evening of love, forgiveness, and friendship.

Days of our Lives Recap Highlights

It was Christmas Eve in Salem and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) looked forward to gathering the family. She knocked the bah-humbug attitude out of Victor (John Aniston), made him don a Santa hat, and got to work on the festivities.

Jailhouse Romance

Brady (Eric Martsolf) boycotted the dinner to see a way more important family member. He went to the prison to see Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Rachel could not be there because she was running a fever. However, she did make her mother a Christmas card all by herself. (Yes, baby Rachel, she of the infant sniffing soundtrack, used glitter, glue, and scissors all on her own.)

Kristen daydreamed about what life would be like if she had it her way. Victor would be her butler, Maggie her maid, and Xander the gardener. She would be the lady of the house getting ready for a grand holiday with her daughter. Kristen and Brady laughed. It was nice to dream.

Head Games and Liars

Meanwhile, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) was caught flirting on the phone with Xander (Paul Telfer) by Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson). She covered her tracks by saying she was telling her sister, Melissa, she loved her. Philip believed her.

As for Xander, he got a call from Maggie just as he ran face-first into Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Maggie invited him to Christmas Eve. He then invited Chloe. It’s a date! At least that’s what he wanted Philip to believe. Philip did. He even got so jealous he pulled Chloe aside to recite a poem he wrote her in high school.

A Kiss That Changes Everything

Justin (Wally Kurth) also brought a surprise guest home for the celebration. He ran into Bonnie (Judi Evans) after mourning Adrienne so he asked her over to the house. Victor was none-too-pleased but Justin balked and Victor relented, causing his Grinch heart to grow to a proper human size.

After the festivities, Justin and Bonnie went on a walk through the square. She thanked him for bringing her. He was thankful too. Their friendship was a Christmas miracle. He then pulled her in for a sweet kiss. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
