Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) battle for freedom netted her a bullet to the shoulder, but her efforts inspired Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) to soldier on…and he wound up KO-ing Jan (Heather Lindell).

The trio was rushed to the hospital, where Chloe was patched up, and Jan was found to have slipped back into her always convenient coma. We’ll see you again in a few years’ time Jan!

Personal Property

It’s a day that ends in y, so Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) must have a complaint. This go-’round, it’s Xander (Paul Telfer), and his compunction for gorging on sweet treats that are not his own.

So, before storming off to make another fresh batch of Grandma Alice’s famous doughnuts, Julie lets Xander have what-for. Later, Xander’s emergency workout is interrupted by Gwen (Emily O’Brien), who’s just had yet another fraught encounter with Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry).

The housemates bicker something fierce, and Xander winds up finding Gwen’s stash of product. This will either lead to blackmail or be the start of a beautiful scheme team with benefits.

Business Acumen

Chanel’s (Precious Way) got big plans for her bakery, and she wants those to include Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and her great-great-grandmother’s doughnut recipe…but Allie is unsure how she can possibly convince Julie to part with the family legacy.

After figuring out that blackmail works just as well as asking politely – as if Julie would want the whole of Salem to remember Book Clubgate – Allie and Chanel get exactly what they want. Celebrations all around!
