The Days of our Lives recap for Friday, October 16, 2020, features Tripp shocking Kayla, Steve going rogue, and Philip pushing Xander’s buttons.
Days of our Lives Recap Highlights
John’s (Drake Hogestyn) fit of rage continued and Steve (Stephen Nichols) had to step in. Things became physical between the besties until Marlena (Deidra Hall) showed up. She dragged her man out the door and gave him a stern talking to.
Let’s Settle This
Back in the apartment, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) came up with a solution to all their problems, a DNA test. One little swab from Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Henry would solve the case and clear Tripp’s name. Tripp refused.
He stormed off leaving Steve full of questions. Why would his son say no? He and Kayla decided to secretly do the test anyway and took his toothbrush.
Meanwhile, Allie (Lindsay Arnold) opened up to Nicole (Arianne Zucker) about her feelings towards Henry. She had a lot of guilt about denying the pregnancy and not wanting the baby. Nicole understood, he was a reminder of the attack. Eventually, Allie decided to try to get close to the baby.
Allie no sooner sat down to hold Henry than Kayla knocked on the door. She told the ladies about her idea and they were all for it.
I Said Go Away
Claire (Isabel Durant) took a break from planning Ciara’s memorial to cry on Charlie’s (Mike C Manning) shoulder. He sat, listened, and offered her words of comfort.
Their moment was interrupted when Tripp showed up demanding Claire hear him out. Claire told him to get lost and when he persisted, Charlie stepped in. He told Tripp to stay away, or else!
Philip Cozied Up To Sarah
Meanwhile, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) spent the evening getting to know Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). He got the inside scoop about the baby Mickey scandal and offered his condolences. The duo ended up having dinner when Xander had to stay late at the office.
Not late enough, though. Xander came home just as Philip poured a bottle of wine. He lost his cool and practically herded Sarah to their room. Philip was pleased. He called his contact and said the plan was working. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
