The Days of Our Lives recap for September 14-18, 2020, features a whole bunch of characters being forced to take a long hard look at themselves.

Days of Our Lives Recap Highlights

Every once in a while, it’s necessary to have someone hold a mirror up to us so that our actions can be reflected back. And it’s no different for the characters making up the fictional world of DAYS.

Sami (Alison Sweeney) never looks before she leaps and she never considers the feelings of anyone other than herself. So even though it might have been tough to hear, it was necessary for John (Drake Hogestyn) to remind her that she can sometimes be a “mean, nasty bitch!” It’s just too bad that the personality-shaming didn’t seem to do the trick.

At least Allie (Lindsay Arnold) is back and determined to put her meddling mother, in her place where Baby Boy Horton is concerned.

The Hard Way

Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) another one being reminded of the error of his ways – and poor Ciara (Victoria Konefal) it seems was the lessons collateral damage. But at least she wasn’t in that exploding car…now if only the incompetents at the SPD could be relied upon to locate her.

What do you think? Post a comment!

Finally, there’s poor, stab-happy Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). After years of unparalleled villainy (well, okay, Stefano was just as bad) she finally settled down and set about playing house with her daughter and lover.

Now, she’s in police custody and staring down a jail sentence – and all because she wanted to be there for Brady (Eric Martsolf) in his hour of need.

DAYS Musings

Eli: “I just feel like all the bad guys are getting all the wins and there’s no justice in this world. The more I thought about it, the madder I got, and the next thing I knew I was at Kristen’s door…The rule of law is for everybody…”

If the rule of law if for EVERYBODY, why the hell are Victor (John Aniston) and Xander (Paul Telfer) still roaming the streets of Salem? They participated in a baby switch, paid hush money, threatened violence and death, and framed an innocent man for a crime he didn’t commit.

Aren’t those all punishable offenses? Did the SPD just forget to arrest them? Maybe Eli should jump off that high horse of his long enough to actually serve some of that justice he’s apparently desperate for. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
