The Devil’s In The Details

JoeDevil (Carson Boatman) transformed into Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), and made sure that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) heard him OK Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) decision to refuse Gabi the CEOship of Titan. Afterward, “Johnny” comforted the distraught businesswoman, and offered to help her undercut Jake before he could do the same to her.

With This Ring

While catching up with his mother, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) revealed his desire to marry Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). A pleased Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) handed Tripp a family heirloom to use in his proposal.

Inconvenient Truths

Thanks to an unwitting Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), TR Coates (William Christian) learned that he was Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) biological father. He made a beeline for his daughter’s door…but Lani wasn’t in the least bit welcoming. TR swore that he was a changed man, but neither Lani nor an arriving Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) planned on giving him the chance to prove it.

Opposite this, Chanel, having been ordered by Paulina to back a bag in expectance of a long family vacation, let Allie know that she’ll be incommunicado for some time. When pressed, Chanel promised that it had nothing to do with the night of passion that they had shared…words overheard by an eavesdropping JoeDevil!

Trapped in the Tropics

Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) woke up in a mansion in the middle of a jungle, courtesy of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). She quickly found Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) IDs along with Steve’s patch and knew something was very wrong.

Somewhere, locked in the same mansion (?) Sarah Horton is acting not-quite-like-herself, a little swoony some might say, and she is a big fan of the peach pie that Kristen made her. Elsewhere, Kayla and Steve awaken to find themselves locked in some kind of storm shelter. When, if ever, will Salem residents put two and two together and send a rescue party for their missing loved ones?
