Ben is sitting on Death Row on Days of our Lives. Funny, huh? He killed a whole bunch of people, kidnapped a baby, and terrorized Abigail (Kate Mansi). And all he got was a trip to Bayview.
Now he allegedly killed one woman. His own sister. Who, earlier, had kidnapped his girlfriend… and another baby, and, for that, he got the death penalty. Interesting legal system they’ve got there in Salem.
But, will he make it out of the chair? Or will they flip the switch? The opinion of almost 6,000 fans:
It’s a landslide as a whopping 98% of the audience voted, “Uh… Duh… Nope.” No way is Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) going down for this crime.
For one thing, no one in Salem ever pays for anything. Not the living, not the dead. The dead don’t even stay dead. So, how can anyone be punished for a temporary, at best, state?
Ben will come close. We’re thinking Sami (Alison Sweeney) levels of close. He has already been strapped down. Hey, they may even put some alcohol on the injection site. (Is getting an infection really something to worry about when you’re about to be shot up with cyanide?) Someone will save him at the last minute. Likely Ciara (Victoria Konefal).
A very dark 2% of you expect to watch Ben sizzle. It will be a fitting punishment for all the punishment he didn’t get for killing Will (Chandler Massey). Who cares if Will is still alive? That’s not the point, sheesh.
It also makes perfect sense. If guilty folks like SteVano (Stephen Nichols), Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso), Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), and Gabi (Camila Banus) are strutting around Salem free as proverbial birds, then innocent Ben ought to be the one to pay for all their sins.
